The Bold and the Beautiful, which has been running for over 38 years now, sees a surprising new development in the producer’s department. For the first time ever, the show will see an executive producer outside of the Bell family. Casey Kasprzyk is ready to become the first non-bell executive producer on the show, after receiving a promotion from his role as Supervising Producer.
Casey Kasprzyk becomes first Bold & Beautiful executive producer to not be from the Bell family
In a recent development, Kasprzyk is reportedly getting promoted to executive producer alongside Bradley Bell (via Deadline). Announcing Kasprzyk’s promotion in an email to the cast and crew, Bradley wrote, “Twenty-two years ago Casey Kasprzyk joined The Bold and the Beautiful at the front desk. Since then, Casey has flourished in every level of production.”
Further he mentioned, “Casey’s commitment and dedication to The Bold and the Beautiful has been extraordinary.” Kasprzyk has four Daytime Emmy Awards to his name for his work on The Bold and the Beautiful. He won thrice in the Original Song category and once shared the award for the 2011 Outstanding Drama Series win as producer of the show’s homelessness storyline filmed in Skid Row, Los Angeles.
He reportedly led international shoots as producer in locations including , Australia, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Mexico and Dubai. Kasprzyk is also the host and creator of Bold Live!, which is B&B’s live YouTube series. Additionally, Bradley remarked in his email, “Casey’s creative accomplishments are too vast to quantify, as he has continually elevated the show to new heights.”
Kasprzyk joined the B&B team back in 2003 and eventually made his way up the ranks. After receiving a promotion to Associate Producer in 2008, he became Supervising Producer in 2014.
The show, created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, saw the couple as executive producers for nearly eight years until their son, Bradley Bell, took over in 1996. Ever since then, Bradley led the show as both executive producer and head writer.
