Jennifer Lopez on Joining Bad Bunny for 2026 Super Bowl Show

Excitement is building for the 2026 Super Bowl LX halftime show as fans speculate about a potential Jennifer Lopez and Bad Bunny reunion.

The Puerto Rican superstar will headline the 2026 Super Bowl on February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Given their history together at Super Bowl LIV in 2020, many are hoping Lopez will join Bad Bunny on the stage once again.

In a recent Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen interview, Jennifer Lopez talks about the buzz around a possible Super Bowl halftime collab with Bad Bunny.

The 54-year-old superstar says she hasn’t been contacted by Bad Bunny yet, but is open to the idea. “I think it would be amazing if it happened,” Lopez added.

Her comments have fans and media talking, while nothing’s official, her positive response hints that she’d be game if the chance comes up.

The interview went live just a couple of weeks after it was officially confirmed that Bad Bunny will headline next year’s Super Bowl.

However, this did ruffle some feathers, including President Donald Trump, who called it “absolutely ridiculous.”

Trump said, “I don’t know who he is. I don’t know why they’re doing it — it’s, like, crazy,” Trump said in the interview on Monday night. “They blame it on some promoter they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.”

In response, Turning Point USA said it plans to host an alternate halftime event featuring “anything in English” as a protest against Jay-Z’s Roc Nation picking a Spanish-speaking performer.

Recently, Bad Bunny called out Trump over his immigration policies, saying that he skipped stops in the continental U.S. on his latest tour because he worried that ICE might raid the concert venues.

When it was confirmed that Bad Bunny would headline the 2026 Super Bowl, the Trump office quickly weighed in. Corey Lewandowski, who advises Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, said on “The Benny Show” that the government won’t give safe haven to people in the U.S. illegally, not at the Super Bowl or anywhere else.

Authorities will track down anyone in the country without proper papers, detain them, and deport them.
