During a recent interview, the superyacht leader from Bravo’s Below Deck Mediterranean was asked if she would be willing to compete on Peacock’s The Traitors.
Captain Sandy Yawn told Parade, “Yes, I would do The Traitors for sure,” before adding, “I don’t know how well I would do. I would do my best.”
For the uninitiated, The Traitors is a reality competition series where contestants have to solve missions set in a castle in the Scottish Highlands to build a prize pot. Alan Cumming hosts the show, which features famous personalities competing for the ultimate prize of up to $250,000.
The game involves a group called the “Traitors,” secretly chosen by the host. They work to sabotage the “Faithful” one by one and prevent them from solving the mystery or completing tasks. If the Faithful manage to identify and eliminate the Traitors, they walk away with the cash prize. If not, the Traitors “murder” all the Faithfuls and take the money.
As the captain on Below Deck Mediterranean, Captain Sandy Yawn leads a superyacht crew. She oversees a large team to ensure the smooth operation of luxury charters and meets the guests’ demanding wishes.
However, The Traitors is a different show altogether: it’s all about deception, trust, and alliances. Thus, if Yawn indeed becomes a part of the Peacock series like many of her Bravo contemporaries, it would be interesting for fans to see how she performs in a new format.
Season 10 of Below Deck Mediterranean kicked off on September 29, and this time, it takes place in Barcelona, Spain. The new season features both new and returning crew members under Yawn’s command.
Meanwhile, Season 4 of The Traitors will likely premiere in January 2026. Moreover, it has 23 exciting names from the sports and entertainment industries in its lineup of contestants.
