Sabrina Carpenter has channeled her inner Carrie Bradshaw for SNL. The show has revealed a short promo for her upcoming appearance that paints her character sketch and what she will bring to the table. In the promo, Carpenter appears in high heels, with her hair curled up like Sarah Jessica Parker’s iconic character.

The “Espresso” singer cosplayed as Sarah Jessica Parker’s character from Sex and the City for SNL’s latest promo, titled “Sabrina and the City.”
The promo of the upcoming episode starts with Sabrina Carpenter narrating, “New York is one big apple, and I’m taking my bite at Saturday Night Live.” She wears a one-shoulder dress that has layered ruffles and crochet-like fabric. It is an off white outfit, and attached to the shoulder is a red fabric rose.
However, the hairstyle is what stands out the most and connects the Grammy winner to Carrie Bradshaw. She sports voluminous blonde curls and keeps her makeup soft, while the pink of her lipstick matches the shade of the rose on her dress.
As Carpenter walks into the elevator of the SNL building, a crew member meets and asks her what she’s up to. Missing the point completely, she replies that she is 5’4 in her heels. Meanwhile, another person walks up to Carpenter and asks if she is excited for the weekend.
The “Manchild” crooner again misses the question and replies that she prefers a “strong end.” Then, she meets Marcello Hernandez standing in the hallway and calls him Mr. Big. As he is trying to correct her, she neglects him and walks past, handing over her martini glass to him.
Soon, a writer comes in Sabrina Carpenter’s way, asking her a question about the script. Instead, she just signs on the paper and assumes that he is her fan. Moreover, she sits down at a desk and starts typing on a keyboard. The 26-year-old narrates, “The woman wondered what she’d gotten herself into. Having won over the cast and crew, the only thing to do was…”
The SNL crew then assembles behind Carpenter and realizes that the computer isn’t even on, acting as a hilarious end to the promo.
The SNL episode featuring Sabrina Carpenter will air on October 18, 2025, on NBC.
