Reportedly, she has still not “matured” and has devoted a lot of time to “socializing” and shopping. Her peers seem to be concerned about how she manages her personal and professional life.

Barack Obama’s daughter, Malia Ann Obama, has raised concerns among her friends due to her lifestyle. A source told RadarOnline that the aspiring writer has been working in the entertainment industry since her college days. Thanks to her family’s name, she has reportedly gotten several opportunities to prove her skills. But her loved ones want her to change her lifestyle and show people “what she’s really capable of.”
“She loves living and working in Hollywood, but it’s the lifestyle she’s become enamored with, not the grind and the inevitable rejection that comes with a serious writing career,” they added.
According to the report, Ann’s parents have also been concerned about her spending habits. Allegedly, she has been enjoying shopping at Beverly Hills, exploring spas and salons, and eating at extravagant restaurants.
Despite the controversies, the 27-year-old secured projects, including a production assistant role on the drama “Extant” and a writing position for the series “Swarm.” She also directed a short film titled “The Heart,” which was showcased at the 2024 Sundance.
Moreover, the former Harvard student has also been nominated for the movie at the 2023 Chicago International Film Festival. However, she won the Young Spirit Award for the same film the following year at the Deauville Film Festival.
Even with a few milestones, a source expressed their concern about Ann’s way of living. Reportedly, she has gained experience to take on big projects. “It’s just sad that she’s taking so much longer to mature as an artist than anybody expected,” they claimed.
