Travis Kelce has this to say about his NFL stars after the release of Taylor Swift’s song ‘Wood’

During a conversation on the New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce playfully asked about his brother Travis‘ NFL performance since Swift’s Wood song was released. He questioned whether Travis’ on-field performance had improved since Swift paid tribute to his manhood.

Presenting the statistical proof, Jason shared a fan post: “Travis Kelce before the release of ‘Wood’: four games, 15 catches, 188 yards and a touchdown.” Comparing to his stats after its release, the post added, “two games, 139 yards and one touchdown.” Travis Kelce found his brother reading the fan post on their podcast “hilarious.” Jason’s wife, Kylie, whose favorite song is “Wood,” added, “I don’t know if that’s significant, but it is funny.”

During a conversation on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,  the ‘Reputation’ singer revealed where the idea of the Wood song stemmed from. She said, “I brought this into the studio, and I was like, ‘I want to do a throwback, kind of timeless-sounding song,’ and I have this idea about, like, ‘I ain’t gotta knock on wood,’ and we would knock on wood, and it would be all these superstitions.”

She revealed that the song started from an “innocent” place, but she had no idea when it turned raunchy. “And it really started out in a very innocent place. [Laughs] You know, it started out… I don’t know what happened, man. I got in there. We started vibing, and I don’t know. I don’t know how we got here, but I love this song so much,” she explained.
