Sources say Selena Gomez is ‘disappointed’ with Nicola Peltz
Selena Gomez grew very close to Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, over recent years, becoming an inseparable trio. They often posted pictures together on social media, documenting their cozy nights in and yacht vacations.
However, the “Calm Down” singer seems to have distanced herself from the couple, reportedly because Peltz “disappointed” her. A source reportedly told The U.S. Sun in August that the two have been distant for months and “they don’t even talk anymore.” They also alleged that Peltz tried to take advantage of Gomez and Benny Blanco’s popularity, which reportedly led to the fallout.
Additionally, Peltz also skipped the Only Murders in the Building star’s bachelorette party in Cabo and didn’t even attend the wedding with her husband last month, further adding to speculations of a rift. The two ladies reportedly met at the Academy Museum Gala in 2022, after which they became inseparable.
A year later, Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz celebrated New Year’s Eve together with Brooklyn Beckham in Mexico. The Grammy winner even shared their pictures on Instagram, captioned, “Fine, call us a throuple.”
As per The Sun, a source divulged that even Beckham is not on talking terms with some other celebrity friends. This includes Jack and Holly Ramsay, and Rocco Ritchie. Meanwhile, he and his wife renewed their vows in August 2025. However, neither Gomez nor their other friends were in attendance.
“Rocco, Selena, the Ramsay kids – none of them have even liked the wedding pics after Nicola posted, let alone commented to congratulate them,” the source reportedly said.
Meanwhile, an insider told People that there is no “bad blood” between Nicola Peltz, Brooklyn Beckham, and Selena Gomez. “Relationships evolve, and it’s true they’re not as close as they once were, but there wasn’t any one thing that happened,” they stated. “There’s nothing but love and well wishes from them for Selena and Benny.”
Currently, neither of the three has yet commented on the rumors of their fallout.
