A few days after getting recognized for their humanitarian work and advocating for protecting kids from the online world, Meghan Markle recently uploaded a picture of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, on social media as a tribute to International Day of the Girl.
But this act seemingly did not sit well with Prince Harry. According to insiders, the post made the Duke of Sussex very uncomfortable. He feels this is an invasion of their daughter’s privacy, especially because he “went to court for privacy — now she’s putting their daughter online.”
Prince Harry is not okay with Meghan Markle’s social media photos, says insider
Meghan Markle recently posted a picture of her four-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, on Instagram to celebrate International Day of the Girl. While the clip received a lot of love from the followers, Prince Harry is upset with this act.
A royal insider told #ShuterScoop that Markle’s post has made the Duke of Sussex “deeply uncomfortable.” “He spent years fighting tabloids and paparazzi to protect his kids. Now Meghan’s the one putting them back in the spotlight.”
The clip in question shows the couple’s second child barefoot, enjoying her time in the field. In the second snap, Lilibet is seen standing with her mom, looking around.
The mom of two even wrote a powerful message in the post, saying, “To all the girls – this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you. It’s your right and our responsibility. Go get ‘em girl!. Happy International Day of the Girl.”
While the message was empowering, Harry thinks Markle “crossed a line” by posting the clip on social media. Moreover, he was not aware of the post. “He found out almost when the rest of us did,” claimed a source.
However, Markle’s friends insist that the clip is a way of “celebrating her daughter and inspiring other girls.” But for Duke, “it’s a clash of principles.” “She believes in visibility — he believes in protection. That tension has never really gone away,” confided the insider.
