Kylie Jenner Making Her Acting Debut in Charli XCX’s Movie

In a new A24 movie called ‘The Moment‘, Kylie Jenner will make her acting debut opposite Charlie XCX. The British singer confirmed this news in an Instagram teaser on October 9. Besides starring in the movie, Charli XCX also helped develop the project, as the story is ‘based on an original idea’ by her. The idea was transformed into a screenplay by Bertie Brandes, and Aidan Zamiri is set to direct the project.

Charli’s frequent collaborator, Aidan Zamiri, directed ‘The Moment’. The film features Kylie Jenner, Alexander Skarsgård, Rachel Sennott, Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Rish Shah, Jamie Demetriou, Arielle Dombasle, Hailey Benton Gates, Trew Mullen, Mel Ottenberg, Richard Perez, Isaac Powell, Tish Weinstock, Michael Workéyè, Shygirl, and A.G. Cook.

As per the reports, the plot of the movie revolves around Charli, who created the concept for the movie, and leads the cast in a meta role as a rising pop star. She navigates the complexities of fame, industry expectations, and public scrutiny while preparing for her arena tour debut, balancing rehearsals, media appearances, and personal relationships along the way.

According to Variety, Charli is now focusing on the film world after dominating the music world last year with her sold-out tour and her commercially and critically acclaimed sixth studio album “Brat”.

‘The Moment’ is scheduled to be released in theatres next year and will include a mix of established stars, emerging talent, and creative collaborators from music, fashion, and film.

Kylie Jenner shares children Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott. However, she has not shown any public interest in pursuing acting like her older sister, Kim Kardashian, aside from her cameo in Ocean’s 8 in 2018.

Even so, she has spoken openly about how turning 28 has brought confidence in trying new things and exploring personal projects.
