Kylie Jenner‘s best friend, Anastasia Karanikolaou, is opening up about a significant change in her body journey. She revealed in a TikTok video that she recently underwent a BBL reduction and is currently recovering at a post-surgery care center.
Looking at the camera, Karanikolaou said, “I’m at a surgery recovery centre recovering from this a** reduction.” She added, “Eating chicken tenders and french fries. I just got my pain medicine, it just kicked in.” Despite still being in recovery, Karanikolaou admitted she’s already happy with the results. She said, “From what I’ve seen, this a** looks nice, lifted and smaller. I’m so excited to be healed and to feel more comfortable in my skin.”
In the same post, Karanikolaou asked followers to “be nice in the comments,” reminding them that she was still in pain and recovering. Many fans applauded her for honestly sharing her experience with cosmetic surgery in the comment section.
However, in a follow-up TikTok video, Karanikolaou addressed speculation that her decision was influenced by changing beauty standards. She explained,” I would just like to state that the reason why I’m sharing my experience currently is because I wish I had someone that showed me the not glamorised side of plastic surgery when I was younger, and I was 18 and I made this decision.”
According to LAD Bible, the 28-year-old influencer explained that she chose to undergo the reversal to correct a mistake she made at a young age. She added, “I shared my experience now because I’m hoping that I can help anyone at the end of the day.”
