The “F1” star had previously sued his ex-wife for selling her shares in their French winery without his approval.
As per Jolie, she seemingly didn’t need his approval to sell her stakes. Following this, Pitt has apparently demanded that she submit the private emails to her team for further investigation. However, she has opposed the request, stating that it comes under the attorney-client privilege.
According to the outlet, the document mentioned that Jolie has asked Pitt to pay up $33,000 to cover her legal fees in defending the motion. Reportedly, she had warned him to withdraw the motion multiple times and had told him that she would otherwise request the court to “order” him to “pay” her the “attorney’s fees opposing.“
However, her ex-husband refused to withdraw it. The “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” actor “requests that the Court order Pitt to reimburse her for the substantial attorneys’ fees she was forced to incur,” the court document read.
It further quoted Jolie, who claimed that the separation was “emotionally difficult” for her and their kids. She left without seeking a dime from her former spouse, including their family homes in Los Angeles and Miraval. The mother of six also touched upon how she dealt with the living situation after their divorce and how she raised the children.
