The pop icon guested on Seth Meyers’ show Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday, October 8. Swift narrated a hilarious incident in which Kelce mistook Hugh Grant’s wife for the Barbie director.

Travis Kelce and Greta Gerwig’s mix-up saga at the Eras tour is hilarious indeed. Taylor Swift narrated how Kelce misunderstood Hugh Grant’s wife to be Gerwig and even congratulated her on Barbie’s enormous success.
Kelce even plugged in an “I’m just a Ken” joke to add to his sincere congratulations, but Gerwig did not respond. At the time, Swift consoled the NFL player, telling him that perhaps Gerwig had heard the joke too many times and didn’t find it funny at all.
Swift checked some footage from her London concert and realised Kelce and Gerwig were dancing and grooving in the same clip. However, they have not been acquainted with each other and are dancing separately. Mission: Impossible star Tom Cruise and Ashton Kutcher are also in the video. Everybody is dancing and grooving to Shake It Off from her album 1989.
Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift’s hilarious narration of the encounter and the dance video went viral on X. “Travis Kelce Greta Gerwig Dancing” took over X trends. Fans hilariously reacted to the fact that Kelce and Gerwig are in the same video. However, neither of them was aware of the funny mix-up that happened at the concert.
One Swiftie commented, “This video is even better after hearing Taylor tell the story that Travis had no clue he was dancing with Greta,” accompanied by a crying emoticon. Another fan chimed in, “Travis when Taylor showed him a photo of the actual Greta Gerwig,” accompanied by a humorous short video.
