Daniel Radcliffe recently shared an interesting story during a panel interview about how he met his girlfriend, Erin Darke. He revealed that their paths crossed on the sets of Kill Your Darlings during a sex scene. He also reflected on how far their love story has come, right from meeting on the set to now sharing a kid.

During a panel interview, the ‘Harry Potter’ star shared a crazy story about his first meeting with his now girlfriend, Erin Darke, on the sets of Kill Your Darlings. He said, “The biggest lasting impact on my life is that I met my girlfriend, who, we’re not married, but essentially my wife, like, the girl, you remember it was the girl that gave me a b—wjob in the library, but that’s us meeting and we have a two-year-old child now.”
In the 2013 movie, Radcliffe and Darke played Allen Ginsberg and Gwendolyn, respectively. In another interview with PEOPLE, Radcliffe detailed their meeting. He mentioned how they connected initially would be a good story to tell to their kids. He said, “It’ll be a hell of a story to tell our kids one day because of what our characters do with each other. Our characters are meeting and flirting with each other.” He called it a “kind of sweet record” of them “just meeting for the first time and flirting.”
In 2023, the couple welcomed their first child, a son. In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, Radcliffe opened up about fatherhood and about his newly born child. “It’s great. It’s crazy and intense, but he’s wonderful and Erin is amazing — it’s a real privilege also to have this time with him. I was always going to take some time off, which not everyone is able to do, and so I’m able to kind of just be here with him a lot, which is lovely,” he added.
