Travis Kelce Says Taylor Swift Makes ‘Talking S*** Sound So Sweet’ For This Song

Travis Kelce heaped praise on fiancée Taylor Swift’s song, “Actually Romantic.” Kelce revealed he listens to “Actually Romantic” the most on the Wednesday episode of the New Heights podcast. It is alleged that the song is a subtle diss track to Charli XCX’s 2024 song “Sympathy Is a Knife” from her album Brat.

Taylor Swift’s new song “Actually Romantic” has Travis Kelce’s stamp of approval. Kelce brothers discussed Swift’s new album on the October 8, Wednesday episode of his New Heights podcast.

Kelce revealed, “That’s become, I wouldn’t say my new favorite, but that’s the one I catch myself going to whenever I look at the list. It’s got that alternative rock, like fun ’90s rock. I love that s****”.

Furthermore, he added, “She makes talking s**** sound so sweet.” His brother Jason agreed with him, revealing that it was one of his favorite songs on the album as well. (via Page Six).

Jason revealed that “Actually Romantic” was in his top three after “Opalite” and “Eldest Daughter.” Swifties are aware that the global pop icon has always used her music and songwriting skills to get back at her naysayers.

Her jabs and comments are neatly veiled in her lyrics. Fans often read between the lines to decipher the meaning.

The lines — I heard you call me Boring Barbie when the coke’s got you brave / High-fived my ex and then you said you’re glad he ghosted me / Wrote me a song saying it makes you sick to see my face — hint at a direct reference to Charli XCX. (via Elle).

Previously, Charli XCX had released the song “Sympathy Is a Knife” from her sixth studio album Brat. Fans believe the lyrics are directed towards Taylor Swift, who was allegedly dating Matt Healy at the time.

The lyrics — Don’t wanna see her backstage at my boyfriend’s show / Fingers crossed behind my back / I hope they break up quick — are allegedly directed at Swift.

Notably, Matt Healy and Charli XCX’s husband, George Daniel, are in the same band, The 1975.
