Glen Powell remembered an awkward moment during the Monday broadcast of the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Kansas City Chiefs game. The actor recently had a chat with Eli and Peyton Manning during their “Manningcast” show, when the trio talked about the hilarious moment that left them confused and disgusted.
During their breakdown of the game, Peyton said, “Speaking of coconut oil, what’s going on here?” The camera then cut to the EverBank Stadium swimming pool, where a bunch of people were having fun in skimpy clothing. The pool is famous for its clear front panel that offers a clear view of the entire body of the swimmers.
As soon as the swimming tank came on screen, Powell and the others looked away in disgust, joking about the awkward cut-off from the field. “I don’t know why they cut there,” the Top Gun actor said. “I really don’t like that cameraman. Whoever cut to that ruined my night,” he stated.
Following the hilarious moment, the trio eventually moved on to talk about Powell’s latest television show, Chad Powers, which includes a cameo from Eli Manning. The trio talks about Powell’s athletic prowess as a football player in the show.
The hosts also react to Manning’s performance in the scene where Powell showcases an amazing touchdown pass as the titular characters. The former New York Giants quarterback jokes about how it took him 27 takes to deliver his line in the cameo.
