Robert Patrick says Sylvester Stallone’s Dwight has finally ‘met a formidable adversary’ in Tulsa King
As Tulsa King Season 3 unfolds, Robert Patrick shared that his character, Jeremiah Dunmire, isn’t afraid of Stallone’s Dwight Manfredi. Speaking about the growing tension between the two, Patrick said Dwight has “met a formidable adversary.”

Patrick’s Jeremiah is introduced as a powerful and dangerous figure who is determined to seek revenge after Dwight buys a rival bourbon distillery out from under him. According to Patrick, Dwight’s attempts to intimidate Jeremiah only expose his own fear.
The actor explained, “When he actually meets me, and I do give him that, and I let him know my intent: ‘Listen, you’re intruding in my life, intruding in my business like this, I’m obligated now with what I have to do? These are the next steps, and I will destroy you.’” (via TV Insider)
Patrick continued, “And then I think he’s trying to work himself out of being fearful of Jeremiah by saying to him, literally, ‘You’re afraid.’” He added, “And that’s how I saw it when I read the scene: He’s trying to make me afraid, when actually, he’s really met a formidable adversary.”
However, despite everything, Patrick said viewers will also see signs of Jeremiah’s weakness as the story continues. The actor stated, “I think you’ll start to see me unraveling, and then I do have some nicks in my armor that are going to be exposed, and you will start to see me be a little bit more vulnerable.”
Through the first few episodes in Season 3, Jeremiah’s revenge quickly escalates. He orders his son Cole to eliminate a former business rival and later confronts Dwight directly. By Episode 3, the rivalry escalates after Cole steals back valuable barrels of bourbon from Dwight’s crew.
