Madonna is hailed as one of the wealthiest self-made women in the world. While many might expect the Queen of Pop to leave her massive fortune to her kids, it seems that may not happen. According to a source, the 67-year-old may leave her personal fortune to Jewish mysticism, which is close to her heart and has greatly influenced her life in many ways.
Madonna’s kids see her potential plans for her massive fortune as ‘betrayal,’ claims source
Madonna reportedly has a massive fortune of $850 million. However, instead of leaving it to her children, Lourdes, Rocco, David, Mercy, Stella, and Estere, the singer plans to leave her personal fortune to the Kabbalah movement, which has helped her in many ways. “She believes Kabbalah saved her soul,” one confidant shared to #ShuterScoop. “It gave her strength through fame, heartbreak, and health scares. To Madonna, this is her way of giving thanks.”
The record producer “sees her fortune as a way to ensure Kabbalah thrives after she’s gone.” However, it seems her six children are not very receptive to her thoughts. According to the insider, the singer’s decision has “shaken” her children. All her kids “love her, but this feels like a betrayal,” claimed another insider.
This will not be the first time the global icon has supported the movement. As per the Kabbalah official site, the Hollywood icon “has been a dedicated student of Kabbalah with The Kabbalah Centre for 29 years.” She has been “studying with her teacher Eitan Yardeni under the leadership of Rav Berg.”
The actress reportedly joined the centre in 1996. According to a 2011 Newsweek article, the philanthropist has allegedly donated at least $18 million of her personal fortune to the center up to that point.
To spread the word, Madonna has recently debuted a new Kabbalah Master Class, “The Mystical Studies of the Zohar.” “Studying from the Zohar and learning Kabbalah’s teachings are pathways to becoming a happier human being,” she said about her class.
