Tom Holland & Robert Downey Jr.’s Reunion For This Reason Makes Fans ‘Nostalgic’

In an interesting turn of events, Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr., adored by millions of comic book fans for their on-screen dynamic as Spider-Man and Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, have reunited, but this time, not to work on a superhero film or defeat a villain, but to strike a collaboration between their respective brands: BERO and Happy Coffee.

Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. join hands for BERO x Happy Coffee collab

In the 20-second clip, Holland and Downey Jr. can be seen standing side by side. Holland looks a bit awkward but flashes a charming smile when Downey Jr. puts his arm over his shoulder, as the camera zooms out to show BERO and Happy Coffee.

In case you didn’t know, Tom Holland runs Bero, a non-alcoholic beer brand that enables its consumers to enjoy drinks without getting drunk, while Robert Downey Jr. is behind Happy Coffee, which serves ethically sourced, feel-good coffee. The details on their collaboration are still under wraps, but with these two teaming up, it’s safe to say it’s gonna be a hit.

As expected, the internet is abuzz, and fans are feeling nostalgic, given it’s been years since we last saw these two together in Avengers: Endgame. The comment sections are teeming with congratulations and funny takes.

One fan joked that the Spider-Man actor is trying way too hard not to spill any Avengers: Doomsday spoilers, while others cheered them on for creating brands that really show who they are. An X (formerly Twitter) user commented, “Tom and RDJ linking up again actually feels nostalgic. Like the kind of moment that reminds you why we loved their chemistry in the first place. And now it’s not Iron Man and Spider-Man it’s coffee and beer.”

However, a few comments are calling it a cash grab, saying their brands are just trying to capitalize on the nostalgia and hype around Doomsday.

Notably, RDJ will return to the MCU in a new role, taking on the mantle of Doctor Doom. And Holland will return in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
