Jay-Z reportedly insisted that the NFL showcase Puerto Rican rapper-singer as a celebration of diversity. This is seemingly because President Donald Trump will likely be watching the next year’s big game. A source told Shuter that the Roc Nation founder “wanted the world to see a different side of America.”
They explained that it’s the “proud, powerful, and Latino” side.
