As per Rob Shuter, Prince Harry’s latest claims of sabotaging his reunion with his father, King Charles, have left Buckingham Palace “saddened and perplexed.” Now, the Palace insiders have started calling the Duke of Sussex his own enemy. One courtier stated angrily, “Every time there’s progress, he runs to the press and ruins it.” They continued that the 41-year-old “demands privacy but never shuts up.” “He needs attention like air,” the insider stated.
Additionally, the courtiers confirmed that the meeting between the King and Prince wasn’t cold at all. One royal friend shared, “The mood was warm and hopeful.” However, the Palace is running out of patience. A source explained, “Charles is a forgiving man, but not endlessly so.” They also said, “The Queen’s rule of ‘no half-in, half-out’ remains. Harry’s royal role is over.” “What’s left is family — if he can stop turning private moments into headlines,” they continued.
Another insider concluded that Prince Harry “left the palace, but he never left the spotlight.” Talking more about the statement, the Prince’s spokesperson shared, “Recent reporting of The Duke’s view of the tone of the meeting is categorically false.” The individual added, “The quotes attributed to him are pure invention fed, one can only assume, by sources intent on sabotaging any reconciliation between father and son.”
The spokesperson continued, “Presumably, those same sources have also chosen to disclose that gifts were exchanged.” They explained they “would have preferred such details to remain private.” Nevertheless, “for the sake of clarity, we can confirm that a framed photograph was handed over.” The individual concluded, “However, the image did not contain the Duke and Duchess.”
