After Selena Gomez and Benny Blanca’s intimate wedding, fans wonder if Taylor Swift will go down the same path or live-stream her nuptials with fiancé Travis Kelce. According to a source, streaming giants might offer $100M to the pop icon to broadcast her big day. Although the chances of Swift agreeing to the deal are low, if she does, the amount will increase her net worth, which is $1.6B as per Forbes, multifold.
Insiders say streaming platforms have big offers for Taylor Swift so they can broadcast her wedding, says source
After Selena Gomez’s nuptials, all eyes are now on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. According to the sources, major streaming platforms are eager to live-stream her big day. And for this, they are ready to shell out hefty amounts to the pop star and her footballer fiancé.
Insiders told #ShuterScoop that streaming giants might offer the couple $70 million to $100 million to live stream their “I do’s.” Although no official offers have been made yet, sources say the “Fearless” singer will immediately reject their offer.
“She won’t sell it. Period,” claimed a source, as the pop icon is the one who “calls the shots.” According to the insider, Swift “wants a wedding for family and friends, not a made-for-TV circus. If she says no, Travis backs her 100 percent.”
The singer and the NFL star got engaged in August and shared the news on Instagram. Since then, speculation of their nuptial date has been doing the rounds on the Internet. Many had earlier also thought that the engaged couple would opt for a grand celebration, inviting who’s who of Hollywood and prominent personalities from the sports fraternity.
However, PEOPLE sources have claimed that to-be-married couples prefer to keep their nuptial “more private.” Neither the songstress nor the NFL star wants their memorable day to be a “spectacle.”
Despite this, the streaming platforms seem willing to take their chance as the couple’s wedding live stream “would be bigger than the Super Bowl.” Sources told Rob Shutter that it is “one event everybody would pay to see.” However, the 35-year-old singer “doesn’t need the money, and she doesn’t want the scrutiny,” concluded the insider.
