Kim Kardashian is reportedly brushing off Ray J’s latest claims. The singer recently went live, alleging he’s working with federal authorities to build a RICO case against Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner.
Ray J is ‘clout chasing’ with Kim Kardashian case, sources say
Ray J shocked viewers during a livestream this week by claiming he’s about to “drop” a federal RICO case involving Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, even comparing it to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ high-profile case. He warned, “The feds is coming … it’s worse than Diddy,” sparking speculation across social media.
But according to #ShuterScoop, Kardashian is not concerned. “Kim doesn’t believe for one second this is real,” one source shared. “She thinks it’s another stunt. She’s baffled anyone is even listening.” Another insider added that Kardashian has bigger priorities: her Skims brand, her beauty line, raising her four children, and continuing her law studies. Behind the scenes, Team Kardashian reportedly isn’t drafting a response. “No statements. The vibe is: ignore it, let Ray J rant,” a PR industry source explained to the outlet.
For the unversed, during his livestream, Ray J told fans, “Anybody that is cool with Kim, they need to tell her now, the feds is coming. There’s nothing I can do about it.” He doubled down on the claim, saying the supposed federal investigation “is worse than Diddy.” However, no evidence has been provided to back his statement, and federal authorities have not confirmed any such case. The singer’s accusations fall under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), a law typically used to prosecute organized crime groups.
This isn’t the first time Ray J has taken shots at the Kardashians. In 2022, he accused Kris Jenner of lying about her involvement in the release of his infamous sex tape with Kim. Earlier this year, he even suggested the family could be linked to racketeering during commentary on Diddy’s case.
