Throughout the years, the 37-year-old has primarily rocked chocolate brown hair but has occasionally experimented with other hair colors.

Zac Efron’s blond hair is featured in new photos shared on social media. These snaps are from the actor’s recent Italian getaway with Nina Dobrev, Miles and Keleigh Teller, and Chace Crawford. The outing took place after Dobrev’s recent split from fiancé Shaun White.
Efron’s blond hair has sparked a plethora of reactions. An X (formerly Twitter) user called him “Zaddy.” “Zac Efron being a platinum blonde again might just have solved all my problems in life,” another user added. “Ngl, he look good right here,” a user shared.
However, one user didn’t understand netizens’ craze over the High School Musical star’s blond hair. “Is this supposed to be something special?” The user asked. “I’m confused why everyone everyone’s going crazy over this.”
This isn’t the first time Zac Efron sported blond hair. He previously debuted a platinum blond look in 2019 at the Sundance Film Festival, where he premiered the Ted Bundy biopic Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile. Later, in an Entertainment Tonight interview promoting the movie, he revealed the blond hair was temporary, as its permanence hinged on “so much work and chemicals.”
He added that the blond hair was the result of a bet he lost with a friend. “It was kind of a double dare sort of thing,” he explained. The Baywatch actor further stated that he was inspired by Eminem — famous for his platinum blond hair — growing up. He implied that his blond hair was the result of his admiration for the rapper, saying, “This is my Stan coming out.”
