Taylor Swift Could Give Serious Competition to A-List Radio Host’s SiriusXM Channel, Says Source

Taylor Swift’s new channel launch on SiriusXM can reportedly overshadow Howard Stern. A source claimed that the singer has the power to attract more listeners than Stern, who used to be known as the “King of All Media.” With the release of her album “The Life of a Showgirl,” the pop sensation launched Channel 13 on Saturday, which will run till October 19. Seeing her popularity, she can seemingly dethrone the long-time A-list radio host.

Taylor Swift’s SiriusXM channel could be a threat to Howard Stern, says source

Taylor Swift’s upcoming projects appear to be exciting. Aside from the “The Life of a Showgirl” album release, she launched a SiriusXM channel called Channel 13 on September 20. Swifties can listen to their idol’s songs on the radio for a month. However, her popularity might become a threat to all-time favorite Howard Stern.

The 71-year-old broadcaster has been running his own show since 2006. He was once known as the “King of All Media.” According to Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop, the “Lover” hitmaker might dethrone the media personality with her new channel. “Taylor is a global phenomenon. Her fans don’t just tune in — they subscribe. That’s a nightmare for Stern,” a source claimed. They mentioned that Channel 13 is not a “novelty channel.”

Furthermore, they also pointed out that Stern used to have over 20 million listeners, but lately, the numbers have gone down dramatically. “He still has die-hards. But the numbers don’t lie,” another insider stated. Hence, the arrival of Swift in the radio world will reportedly give a serious competition to the popular radio host.

Earlier, PEOPLE reported that her SiriusXM channel will play the soloist’s TS12 album songs “every other hour” on the release day. For those unversed, “The Life of a Showgirl” will drop on October 3, 2025. It will comprise 12 songs, including a collab with Sabrina Carpenter.
