After opting out of the royal duties in 2020, the former actor made it clear that she “doesn’t want anything to do with the royal family.” However, this move by Harry “will bring up old scars, old issues,” for Markle. As per the source, she might not “be able to handle” the deal. They added that it might “create total strain on their marriage.”
It reportedly appears that Prince William is not very keen to strike any deal with his younger brother. As per the source, he “will do everything in his power not to let him return, especially since Meghan is part of the equation.” They believe, “it would make sense for Harry to be on good terms with his dad to strike a deal and override his brother.”
Moreover, William “feels monarchy has to move forward with a smaller, tighter unit.” Thus, the Prince of Wales might phase out “Harry and Meghan completely.” He might even strip their “royal privilege, including their HRH titles and their children’s titles,” the source claims.
