Adult star Bonnie Blue was allegedly punched in the face by a woman late Thursday night (Sept. 18) while she was hosting a meet-and-greet event at Onyx nightclub in Sheffield as part of her Bang Bus Tour. On the tour, Blue travels across the United Kingdom, visiting universities and appearing at nightclubs for meet-and-greets. Despite the name of the bus, she does not engage in sexual activities with the public.
According to eyewitnesses, one woman lined up to meet Blue but unexpectedly struck her. Speaking about the incident, one eyewitness told Yorkshire Live: “She was taking a picture of Bonnie Blue, she was acting all nice and friendly and everything. She was having a conversation with her. I didn’t hear the conversation, I was too far away. And then she just turned around, talked to her friend, turned back to Bonnie Blue, and just smacked, punched her straight in the jaw.”
Footage showed security quickly intervening and escorting the attacker away. Police arrived shortly after. “It is reported that a woman was assaulted at the nightclub, suffering no injuries,” South Yorkshire Police said in a statement. “A woman was detained at the scene and later released. The incident has been filed pending further information coming to light” (via Complex).
Video footage taken before the altercation showed the alleged attacker confronting Blue, saying, “But do you know how many years you’ve set back feminism? […] You have. You’ve made so many women’s lives shit.” The two exchanged heated words before the woman walked away.
Blue later downplayed the incident when speaking to local media, saying she was fine. She is expected to continue her UK tour.
