Austin Butler has taken ownership of Brad Pitt’s Los Feliz home, finalizing the purchase for $5.2 million. According to TMZ, the sale closed last Friday and comes only three months after the residence was struck by a burglary.

The burglary took place on June 25. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, three individuals climbed the fence and forced entry through a window. They searched through the home for roughly ten minutes before leaving with items that have not been publicly identified. Pitt was away on the F1 press tour at the time, appearing at red-carpet events in New York, Mexico, and London.

The U.S. Sun reported that neighborhood security had patrolled the area less than an hour before the incident. Following the break-in, additional guards were reportedly assigned to monitor the house more closely. The publication reported, “He has personal security that was always there when he was in residence, but now he has guards there all the time.”

Butler’s newly purchased residence offers more than 2,000 square feet of living space. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom property incorporates floor-to-ceiling windows, solar panels, and an L-shaped layout. Its features also include a luxury sauna and an expansive outdoor swimming pool.

Meanwhile, Pitt has already shifted his focus to a new residence. Earlier in September, The Post confirmed that the actor acquired a $12 million estate in the Hollywood Hills. The Spanish-style property spans 8,385 square feet and includes six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a home theater, a fire pit, and a pool. Insiders noted, “He wanted somewhere that could provide an optimal security system and privacy, and this place caught his eye.”
