Kai Cenat Tries To Recreate ‘Up’ Balloon Flight on Stream

Kai Cenat has got the internet talking yet again with a video going viral online, where he attempted to fly live on stream with a bunch of helium balloons attached to him. Notably, the popular YouTuber was trying to recreate the iconic balloon moment from the animated film Up.

The 23-year-old internet personality is not afraid of pushing boundaries and challenging himself, and he has done it again, or at least made a brave attempt to.

Kai Cenat attempted to recreate an iconic moment from the animated film, Up, using helium balloons. In the video shared via X (formerly Twitter), he was presumably in his backyard with his team helping him attach multiple balloons to him. Cenat then readied himself and jumped in an attempt to fly. However, the strong winds pushed the balloons, failing his attempt.

The Twitch star then made a second attempt, this time standing atop a golf cart as he prepared to fly again. The bottom left of the video displayed a message stating that 843 balloons are attached to Kai Cenat, and one more balloon will be added for every ten new subscribers.

Notably, Kai Cenat was attempting to recreate the iconic moment from the 2009 animated movie Up. In the Pete Docter film, Carl Fredricksen, a 78-year-old retired balloon salesman, is forced to evacuate the very house he shared with his late wife, Ellie.

In an attempt to save his house, Carl uses thousands of colorful helium balloons and attaches them to the chimney. The helium balloons lift off his entire home as he happily flies away, preventing the eviction and saving the house.

Kai Cenat’s attempt at flying wasn’t entirely successful, but it did garner significant attention. Fans took to social media to react to his interesting challenge. One fan wrote, “Kai boutta fly,” with a GIF from Up attached to the comment. Meanwhile, another concerned fan wrote, “He almost flew away, glad he landed safe.”

In other news, Kai Cenat also appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show recently. There, he spoke about how he had to cancel his plans to stream in outer space.
