The movie co-stars Colin Farrell, who worked with Pattinson on Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
Margot Robbie had Robert Pattinson’s Twilight posters in her teens
Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell recently sat down for an interview with MTV’s Josh Horowitz. In it, the duo discussed their work on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey and the upcoming projects they were involved in.
During the discussion, Horowitz asked the Babylon star if she had a The Fifth Element poster. To this, Robbie said she “wished” she had movie posters, noting they weren’t “sold anywhere on the Gold Coast.”
The Suicide Squad actress then revealed she had to share a room with her brother until she was 16, because of which she could only fill half the room with posters of her choice. “They would have been whatever they had in DOLLY or Girlfriend Magazine,” she added. “The two magazines for young tween girls in Australia.”
Margot Robbie shared that the magazines would have pull-out posters of actors like Chris Hemsworth, Robert Pattinson, and probably Farrell himself as well, which one could then stick on walls. Horowitz asked her if she was a Twilight fan, to which she responded, “Of course I was. Of course I was. I was obsessed.”
Robbie’s response prompted Farrell to remark that there was a generational gap between them. To this, she told him that he was one of the actors in the DOLLY Magazine.
Interestingly, Pattinson and Robbie previously appeared together in a 2018 The Hollywood Reporter roundtable. Moreover, that same year, OK! Magazine reported that he was eyeing a part for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which starred the 35-year-old.
An insider suggested that The Batman actor wanted a part in the movie as he was “dying to work” with the Australian actress. The source further noted that the two “had close calls before.” They added that Pattinson’s ultimate goal was to “work with Margot under Quentin’s direction.”
