Prince William & Kate Middleton’s New Home Funded Out of Their Own Pocket, Source Claims

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly all set to relocate from Adelaide Cottage to Forest Lodge with their three kids, Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and Prince Louis, this fall. Their new home allegedly will be a Georgian mansion with eight bedrooms, located on the grounds of Windsor Great Park.

As reported by RadarOnline, a source told them that the Prince of Wales and the Princess of Wales have been planning to make further renovations on the property. They reportedly did not take any financial help from King Charles for their new home.

Prince William and Kate Middleton ‘didn’t consider asking King Charles for a penny’ for new home, source claims

Prince William and Kate Middleton allegedly refrained from taking any money from King Charles for the renovation of their new home at Windsor Great Park. Per the mentioned portal, a source claimed that the Prince of Wales and the Princess of Wales have been “already working with a construction team to change things up and add some personal touches that will reflect their tastes.” The person continued, “It’s being funded entirely out of their own pocket.” They further added, “They didn’t consider asking King Charles for a penny.”

In the meantime, as reported by RadarOnline, the Forest Lodge has more square footage than Adelaide Cottage. However, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, will allegedly continue to renounce help from the live-in staff members. The insider said, “There will still be staff to assist with cleaning and taking care of the outdoors.” They continued, “But the family will have the home to themselves.”

Meanwhile, the source also claimed, “It’s very different from how royals used to handle matters – there were almost always live-in staff and butlers tending to the senior royals’ every whim.” The person then explained, “But the Waleses don’t subscribe to that mentality.” “They also want to maintain a sense of normalcy for the kids,” they added.
