Rumors about Andrade leaving WWE took over the internet following his absence from the show since July 2025. After his last match, there was no official announcement on whether the wrestler had exited the company or not. However, after much speculation, Andrade finally responded to the rumors on his social media accounts.
What Andrade posted after leaving WWE
Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza, aka Andrade, is a 35-year-old Mexican wrestler. The company allegedly let go of the former WWE United States and NXT Champion during his second tenure with WWE.
After his last match in July, viewers noticed Andrade’s absence from the show. Since he was part of many high-profile storylines, viewers were wondering about his next appearance. However, over the weekend, the WWE Alumni category was updated without any official announcements.
Following the incident, Andrade posted the following on his social media accounts.
On September 15, 2025, Andrade simply tweeted on his X account: “Thank you WWE!!!” The post has since gone viral and has garnered over 1.5 million views.
On the same day, he uploaded a photo on his Instagram account. The photo featured a handwritten “THANK YOU!” on a paper, which was accompanied by a caption that read, “#wwe”.
While none of the posts explain the reason behind his departure, it does confirm his exit. On the other hand, Takedown on SI had earlier reported that he was allegedly removed from WWE following a violation. The article noted, “The decision to cut him was on the company’s volition, and not related to budget moves.”
According to the article, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer said that the release was disciplinary. As per Sports Illustrated’s sources, Andrade was allegedly in violation of at least one company policy during his most recent WWE match. Although the details of the policy violation are still under wraps, reports noted that WWE let him go without pay.
