Keke Palmer’s recent appearance on Hot Ones is making a splash online after she kissed host Sean Evans. Not only did the star grapple with the dreaded hot wings again, but she also created one of the most memorable moments in the show’s history.

Keke Palmer kisses Sean Evans on Hot Ones
Keke Palmer returned to Hot Ones this week on the September 15 episode of the popular YouTube show. During the interview, Palmer brought up Sean Evans’ confession of having a crush on her. The Hot Ones host had admitted to finding Palmer “very charming” when he appeared on an episode of Chicken Shop Date with Amelia Dimoldenberg in 2023. The One of Them Days star addressed the revelation, asking Evans about it.
“And then there’s one more thing I’d like to say, Sean, because I saw an interview where you said, like, I was your favorite guest, you know, and all this really sweet stuff,” she began. Palmer then made a cheeky proposal saying, “And I know we’ve just had some wings, but I thought that maybe we could just have a quick smooch to see if there’s a spark.” Evans was all game, and the pair shared a playful kiss on camera.
Evans gushed about the unexpected moment, saying, “When I’m dying and my life flashes before my eyes, I’ll have that snapshot.”
This isn’t the first time Palmer spoke about Evan’s crush on her. The actress told People that she felt the “good chemistry” while filming her first Hot Ones appearance in 2021. “Not to say that I was surprised or I wasn’t surprised. But when I heard it and people were sending it to me, I was like, ‘I knew the vibes were vibing,’ ” Palmer added.
The star referred to the moment again in an episode of Hot Ones Versus in January 2025, appearing alongside SZA and Issa Rae. Palmer made a playful remark, saying, “I want to give a quiet but loud shoutout to the one and only Sean Evans. I owe everything to you, baby.”
Meanwhile, Palmer is all set to appear in the upcoming comedy film Good Fortune. It stars Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Sandra Oh, and Keanu Reeves.
