Their friendship stretched back years through storylines and public appearances. However, according to Rob Shuter’s exclusive report, it might not be the same anymore. And it all started when Cheban showed up with Pippen at a fashion event in New York.
The twist is that Pippen was once one of Kardashian’s closest friends before their public fallout in 2020. According to PEOPLE, their ending friendship, in part, was tied to Kanye West. Once thick as thieves for more than a decade, they suddenly weren’t speaking. The Kardashians unfollowed Pippen on social media, and her comments about the family being “brainwashed” made the split clear.
Hence, when Cheban arrived at the same event as Pippen, fans put two and two together. Additionally, an insider told Shuter, “They were joined at the hip — red carpets, vacations, everything. But Kim’s empire exploded while Jonathan leaned harder into FoodGod. The dynamic shifted.” Even so, Cheban insisted to Us Weekly, “We’re going to be friends forever,” adding, “We talk all the time.” However, the two have not been photographed together since December 2022.
