Cardi B Channels Mob Wife Aesthetic in Leopard-Print Dress for VMAs Afterparty

After the VMAs award show, the next big thing that fans eagerly wait for is the afterparty, where celebrities put their best fashion foot forward. And this year’s MTV Video Music Awards party was no different. From Cardi B to many other icons, everyone was dressed to the nines on Sunday. But it was Cardi B who made the mob wife aesthetic look good in an animal-print dress at the afterparty.

Cardi B is in a celebratory mood, and she made this very evident in the VMAs afterparty. The rapper missed the award show, but she stole the limelight after arriving at the Raising Cane’s founder, Todd Graves’ U.S. Open afterparty in New York City for a performance.

On September 7, the 32-year-old looked gorgeous while posing for the cameras in the bold, low-cut leopard-print dress at the event. She paired her dress with thigh-high black sheer stockings and black heels. To do justice to her mob wife aesthetic look, the mom of three opted for a curly bob hairstyle. She wore long earrings to complement the look. For the makeup, the Grammy-winner kept it simple with winged eyeliner and nude lip shade to keep the focus on her dress.

Bronx-born rapper was not the only one to dazzle at the fast food chain, Raising Cane’s, evening bash. As per TZR, U.S. Open Men’s Singles winner Carlos Alcaraz was also present at the event. Even actor Jamie Foxx and singer Lenny Kravitz were at the bash.

With her forthcoming album, “Am I the Drama?” releasing on September 19, Cardi B is busy promoting her new music. This will be her first album in over seven years. For this, the rapper is making sure to promote her work as much as possible. As per PEOPLE, she recently uploaded a hilarious TikTok video. Cardi B captioned it, “My label said I gotta get out in these streets and sell this album LINK IN BIO.” The video shows her selling her new music on the streets of New York, which is a typical street seller style.
