Bad Bunny Limps After Suffering Knee Injury on Stage

Bad Bunny recently suffered a knee injury while performing on stage. The performance was part of the Puerto Rican musician’s 30-day No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency at San Juan’s José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. The residency kicked off on July 11, 2025, and is expected to conclude on September 14, 2025. Since it began, the residency has reportedly contributed to a major shift in Puerto Rico’s economy, as foreign tourists also showed up to attend it.

Footage shared on social media showed Bad Bunny singing on stage. Not long after, the Oasis artist began hopping, while continuing to sing. Unfortunately, while hopping, he landed awkwardly and twisted one of his legs.

The subsequent injury then made him limp as he walked away. As Bad Bunny limped away, he shouted, “Aye.”

Fans reacted to Bad Bunny’s knee injury in a plethora of ways. Some found humor in the situation, while others expressed concern for the 31-year-old.

“Bad bone knee,” one user commented. Another added, “The irony to be taken out by a bunny hop.”

Several users highlighted the “Aye” sound Bad Bunny made after he started limping, which they found funny.

The Bullet Train actor first announced his residency on Instagram in January 2025. In a video, he shared a message expressing his appreciation for music, the love showered by fans, and the opportunity to travel to various places across the globe.

“I’m in Puerto Rico, I’m home, having fun and, to be honest, I don’t want to leave. Thanks to music and the love you give me through my music, I’ve had the privilege of traveling to sing in different places of the world,” the translated message reads. (via Billboard)
