Renowned energy drink G Fuel has sent the internet into a frenzy after sharing a cryptic post on social media, causing many to question if the company was going out of business. The New York-based organization has gained significant popularity in the gaming community due to its collaborations with famous Twitch streamers. It recently posted what looked like a farewell message, raising severe doubts in the public’s minds.
G Fuel’s new X post makes fans wonder if the brand is shutting down
On September 2, G Fuel took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle to pen a heartfelt message, expressing gratitude to its customers and supporters. This has led many to conclude that G Fuel could be going out of business soon.
The post included a caption that read, “An unforgettable run. Thank you for the love, the grind, and the memories,” along with a heart emoji. G Fuel also added a lengthy message in the tweet announcing the “end of an era.” Lastly, the update thanked everyone who had championed the brand so far with some sincere lines that read, “It’s been an incredible journey being able to build alongside creators, gamers, streamers, and a community that became family…So, to everyone who’s been a part of it, thank you, we love you.”
One user shared their disbelief in G Fuel possibly going out of business by writing, “Gotta be bait unless the company had the worst management ever.” Another thanked the company for its contribution to the gaming industry, noting, “The end of an era. Thanks for hydrating gamers around the world.”
Meanwhile, a third user pointed out that this could simply be a rebranding stunt by the drink mix brand. The user stated, “Actually cringe pretending to be shutting down when in reality, you’re just rebranding.” Notably, this move might as well turn out to be a marketing move by G Fuel. The company had only announced the advent of major changes in the brand back in June 2025. Moreover, the organization’s official website is currently operational and is still accepting preorders for upcoming products.
It seems that the latest post shared by G Fuel is part of a thought-out promotional campaign. It does not indicate that the company is going out of business.
