Is Luigi Mangione modeling for SHEIN from behind bars? In what seems to be the most unlikely of events, many have spotted a model in the photographs for a button-down shirt for sale on the SHEIN website who resembles the accused killer. Of course, Mangione could not have modeled for the fast-fashion brand from prison, but could the resemblance be more than a coincidence?
Luigi Mangione spotted in SHEIN ad
Luigi Mangione, or someone who looks strikingly similar to the accused killer, has been spotted modeling a SHEIN shirt. The resemblance is so uncanny that many would think it is indeed Mangione. Except for one detail: Mangione has been in prison since December.
There is a chance that the model who posed for the photo simply looks like Mangione. Another possibility is that the brand AI-generated the figure, which strongly resembles the accused killer. This could be a real possibility, as many brands rely on AI-generated models for their collections. Perhaps the resemblance is coincidental. According to TMZ, neither SHEIN nor Mangione’s legal team has responded to the ad yet.
Authorities have accused Luigi Mangione of killing Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare. Someone shot the CEO to death on December 4, 2024, in Midtown Manhattan. A video captured the shooting, which took place outside an entrance to the New York Hilton Midtown hotel.
Police arrested Mangione in Altoona, Pennsylvania, after a five-day-long manhunt. A grand jury indicted him on multiple charges, including first-degree murder. The killing has polarized the public, with some even celebrating him as a folk hero of sorts.
Mangione has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He remains in prison awaiting trial. Stay tuned for more updates.
