Jimmy Choo gave the first look at their Fall 2025 collection in a recent ad campaign with Sydney Sweeney in the spotlight. The Emmy-nominated actress starred in a cinematic featurette that unveils the brand’s new collection. The short Instagram clip features the star stepping into multiple characters that represent different moods and fashion vibes.
The luxury brand curated several looks for Sweeney, which included a black body-hugging leotard that put on a cheeky display. In the video, the Euphoria star strikes a stretching pose while studying a script. The outfit represents Bar, one of the four personas that she embodies in the ad. As Bar, Sweeny shows off a pair of the white, thigh-high Hart Knee Boot 85 from Jimmy Choo’s Fall Collection this year.
Other new Jimmy Choo pieces introduced by Sweeney in the video include zebra-print slingbacks, drop-heel pump shoes, hobo bags, and more. Each item accompanies a different character, namely Isa, Scarlett, Bar, and Tylor. Sweeney channels multiple moods and styles to play each character, ranging from an adventurous free spirit to a dominant girl boss.
Sydney Sweeney’s Jimmy Choo campaign dropped just a month after she faced backlash for her American Eagle jeans ad. The video became controversial for featuring an insensitive pun on genes/jeans that fans slammed for having a racial undertone. Additionally, the star also made headlines after her recent movies, Americana and Eden, performed poorly at the box office in light of the controversy.
Meanwhile, Sweeney is all set to lead Christy, the upcoming biographical sports drama film, centering on former professional boxer Christy Martin. The film will have its world premiere on September 5, 2025, at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
