Jenna Ortega stuns in torn backless dress
Jenna Ortega turned heads at a New York City gala celebrating Wednesday season 2 in a bold backless dress. She stepped onto the purple carpet in a custom GapStudio by Zac Posen gown in a faded gray-purple jersey.
It featured a twisted halter front and an open back with multiple cutouts running down to the small of her back. The shredded floor-length train, finished with braided ends, trailed behind her, while a black lace bustier peeked from underneath the distressed gown.
Ortega paired the ensemble with chunky black platform boots and layered silver and gold chain necklaces, cocktail rings, and delicate bracelets. Her hair, styled by Cesar Deleon Ramirez, combined a slick, wet-look with small braids. Meanwhile, makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis highlighted her bleached brows with smoky brown eyes, terracotta blush, and a matte mauve lip, creating a polished effect.
Styled by Enrique Melendez, Ortega has fully adopted the method dressing style throughout the Wednesday season 2 press tour. She has consistently delivered looks that mix archival fashion with contemporary couture. This range was showcased at the gala alongside co-stars Emma Myers and Joy Sunday, as well as Lady Gaga. The pop star will appear in Wednesday Season 2 Part 2, as the Nevermore teacher Rosaline Rotwood.
Part one of Wednesday season 2 is already streaming, nearly three years after the first season premiered. Meanwhile, part two will debut on the platform on September 3, 2025.
