The View concluded its last season, receiving threats from the White House. After Trump shockingly alleged that Obama orchestrated a plot against him and accused him of “treason,” Joy Behar suggested on The View that the former’s statements against the latter were motivated by jealousy.
In response, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers issued an ominous statement. In it, she slammed Behar, warning The View would be the next show to be taken off-air.
“Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome,” the statement read. Rogers also claimed the show “hit the lowest ratings” in recent years.
The statement continued, saying Behar “should self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off air.” (via Entertainment Weekly)
