NFL superstar Travis Kelce debuted a fresh buzz cut during The Kingdom screening on Sunday, August 24. The event took place at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end arrived on the red carpet looking dapper in his dark gray, two-piece suit. The ensemble included a single-breasted jacket over a simple white T-shirt and matching tailored pants. He finished the look with white sneakers and sleek black rectangular sunglasses. However, what fans noticed most was his bold new buzz cut look.

Over the years, Kelce had sported several hairstyles ranging from close-cropped hairdos to medium-length bangs. Fans are mostly familiar with his signature buzz cut look, which he moved on from in 2024 and began growing out his hair.

The NFL star debuted a medium-length shaggy hairstyle with side-swept bangs in July 2025, when he arrived at the training camp ahead of the NFL season (via E!News). However, it looks like Kelce has now returned to his iconic buzzed hairstyle.

Fans had also noticed Kelce’s short hair when he recently sat down with his partner, Taylor Swift, during a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, along with his brother and co-host Jason Kelce. The episode premiered on August 14 and became their most streamed video to date, garnering over 20 million views, as of writing. Following the episode, fans got a proper look at Kelce’s short buzz cut at The Kingdom screening.

The Kingdom is an upcoming six-part docuseries that will chronicle the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2024 NFL season. The widely anticipated ESPN Original Series will begin streaming on September 10. The episodes will be released weekly, concluding the season on October 15 (via ESPN).
