Maren Morris calls out fan who touched her inappropriately
Following her performance at the Ravinia Pavilion in Highland Park, Illinois, on Friday, August 22, Maren Morris took to her Instagram Stories to share a distressing experience. Morris wrote that a fan “grabbed my a– during [the] meet-and-greet before the show.”
She reassured followers that she would continue the private fan meetings, stating, “I’m going to continue them because one person shouldn’t ruin it for everyone.” But Morris also reminded fans to respect personal space and wrote, “I’m there to connect, share, hug, all the things, but please don’t override someone’s personal space. Love you.”

Despite the incident, Morris maintained a positive attitude. She shared behind-the-scenes footage showing her chatting with fans and signing autographs, appearing cheerful before taking the stage. The singer also posted photos from the concert, including shots of herself in a black feathered dress, captioning them, “Thank you for a beautiful garden venue, a perfect sunset and for selling the damn show out. we can’t wait to come back.”
The Dreamsicle tour, which began on May 30 following the release of her latest album of the same name, has been a personal one for Morris. In a May interview with The Cut, she explained that the album reflects her journey through “grief” and “vulnerability” after her 2023 divorce from ex-husband Ryan Hurd, with whom she shares a five-year-old son, Hayes. Morris has since shared that she and Hurd remain on amicable terms.
Maren Morris will wrap up the U.S. leg of her Dreamsicle tour on October 12 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
