The Annabelle Popcorn Bucket for The Conjuring: Last Rites was recently unveiled by Cinemark. The bucket’s unusual appearance invited a plethora of reactions. Now, Sexyy Red has weighed in on the bucket’s appearance on X (formerly Twitter) and shared her thoughts on the same. Last Rites, which is the ninth installment of The Conjuring franchise, will hit theaters across the United States next month.
Here’s how Sexyy Red reacted to Annabelle popcorn bucket
Cinemark recently offered a first look at its Annabelle popcorn bucket on social media, which is a stand-up figurine of the doll. The back portion of the figurine has an opening where popcorn can be stored. However, the opening area includes not only the back part of the figure’s torso but also the buttocks, essentially giving it an awkward appearance.
Sexyy Red shared her reaction to the popcorn bucket’s appearance on X (formerly Twitter). “So mfs eating her a— basically what yal sayin?” She asked.
The Annabelle Popcorn Bucket will be available for purchase starting August 22, 2025.
As of writing, it’s unclear what the price of Cinemark’s Annabelle popcorn bucket is. However, it may cost somewhere between $40-$50. Alternatively, its price could also be below that range, based on past popcorn bucket releases. For instance, the limited-edition Child’s Play: Chucky Popcorn Bucket amounts to $32.95, as mentioned in the official Cinemark store.
Cinemark is not the only theater chain selling Annabelle popcorn buckets, as chains like Marcus Theatres and Regal Movies are also selling their versions of the container. However, unlike Cinemark, these popcorn buckets do not have an awkward appearance. These buckets have a replica of Annabelle wrapping its arms around the vessel.
Marcus Theatres’ Annabelle popcorn bucket costs $44.99. However, it is currently out of stock as of writing.
The Conjuring: Last Rites premieres in theaters on September 5, 2025.
