Days after Willow Smith stirred controversy with her crying photo on Instagram, fans on the internet have come out to share their reactions over the snap as well as the outrageous text it contained. While many have levied the blame on the parenting skills of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, some have highlighted her unique views on sexuality in the aftermath of her disputed Instagram update.

On August 13, the “Whip My Hair” singer shared a picture of herself with her face covered in tears on her Instagram stories, along with the caption, “Who ate all the p—–?”
While Willow Smith has since noted that she meant the post as a joke, netizens have, nonetheless, shared their displeased reactions regarding her crying photo on social media. A plethora of responders have even called out the entire Smith family for their antics, with one X (formerly Twitter) user writing, “Why are will smiths kids so weird?”
Another one remarked, “Imagine being having a rich famous family, please you being rich, famous, and you have to live a life like this, something is not adding up with that family.” Moreover, a third user commented, “Ngl, we need a 6-part documentary on this entire family.” Meanwhile, one user called out Will Smith for not raising his children correctly, stating, “Will smith we gotta question your parenting though.”
Notably, the Bad Boys star had revealed in a previous interview that he regrets teaching his kids to follow radical honesty. “We made a very, very, very terrible mistake with our children, and we went with radical honesty,” Smith said during his appearance on the Heart Breakfast with Jamie and Amanda radio show.
On the other hand, some have questioned Willow Smith’s sexuality over her crying photo and its caption, asking if the 24-year-old artist is gay. In a 2019 Red Table Talk appearance, she had disclosed that she was bisexual, adding that she preferred polyamory in a 2021 discussion on the Coping Mechanism talk show.
