Car Crashes Into YouTubers As They Were Eating Food In Restaurant

Notable food influencers Nina Santiago (also known as NinaUnrated) and Patrick Blackwood were recently involved in a terrifying car accident. The incident occurred at a local restaurant in Houston, Texas, where the influencers were enjoying a meal. The food reviewers were able to capture the shocking incident on a video that has now gone viral.

Here are all the details.

Influencers run as car crashes into them while eating food

The clip begins with Santiago and Blackwood casually munching on their food. Their meal was abruptly cut short when a car, reportedly an SUV, came out of nowhere and crashed into the window beside them. The impact knocked over the table along with all the food, sending glass shards flying everywhere.

Santiago fell to the floor immediately, followed by Blackwood trying his best to escape the impact. The footage also features a slow-motion replay of the crash, capturing the horrified faces of the restaurant staff in the background. Details of how the car crashed into the restaurant are yet to be revealed.

Santiago and Blackwood posted the video on their Instagram, calling it a “Near Death Experience.” Pictures later shared by the influencers reveal several cuts on their faces and bodies. Fortunately, they have not sustained any major injuries.

The pair has since provided updates on their recovery and shared multiple pictures from the hospital, along with a detailed account of the ordeal.

“I’m beyond grateful to be alive after an SUV crashed through the glass wall at @cuveesculinarycreations in Houston, TX, shattering everything while @iampatrickblackwood and I recorded an eating show,” Santiago wrote in her personal update post on August 19.

“It hit us directly me on his left, him on my right as I bit into a delicious salmon slider. Out of nowhere, but we survived,” Santiago continued. She concluded on an emotional note, saying, “This experience showed me who truly matters; life’s too short for grudges or anger. Let go, forgive, live in the now, and cherish those around you this could’ve been our last meal.”

Blackwood echoed the sentiment in his update, writing, “Grateful to see another day, walking away from the small stuff with a big purpose! Live bold, love deep, and make every moment count.”
