Ancient Japanese Scroll Could Contain the Sex Tips Men Need

While advancements in medicine have directly contributed to the sexual wellness of people in modern times, an ancient Japanese scroll appears to have uncovered several useful sex tips for men centuries ago. The scroll reportedly contains a range of practices that could help its followers lead healthier lives. It also offers guidance for enjoying an elevated intimate experience with their partners.

Ancient Japanese scroll might have a useful tip for men

Titled Ishinhō, the Japanese scripture consists of 30 volumes. The Imperial Family of Japan and its physicians have preserved it for centuries. Scroll 28 stands out for its focus on creating and conserving life force within a human being, explaining how to achieve this through sexual activity.

The sex tips in Volume 28 of the Ishinhō suggest that men who avoid ejaculating during intercourse may prevent premature aging. Many Taoist teachers support this idea. They recommend that men ejaculate only 20 to 30% of the times they are intimate with their partners. This, they believe, can improve overall physical health. According to Taoist tradition, limiting ejaculation conserves the energy stored in sperm. That energy, in turn, is redirected throughout the body, nourishing and strengthening it over time.

While there is no definitive scientific proof supporting this tip, Leslie Kenny, co-founder of the Oxford Longevity Project, believes semen retention can benefit men. She explains that when a man ejaculates, his body loses testosterone. Eastern sages have long referred to this hormone as a man’s “essence.” Kenny, a well-known physiologist, shared this view in a YouTube video, noting that repeated depletion could impact overall vitality and energy levels.

Kenny suggests that men wishing to follow these tips can use a mix of breathing techniques and butt-muscle clenching exercises. The Oxford Healthspan founder also recommends adding antioxidant-rich foods to the diet, including avocados, broccoli, cabbage, and leafy greens.
