Sophie Turner, who shares two daughters with ex-husband Joe Jonas, recently became the focus of online criticism after posting a carousel of photos from an Oasis concert. The pictures show Turner enjoying the night: laughing with friends, posing for the camera, kissing a cardboard cutout of Liam Gallagher, and sporting a laid-back look in denim and a bucket hat. She captioned the post, “Bucket hats & beers…. That’ll do me.”
While plenty of followers praised her night out, one commenter decided to take a swipe. They wrote, “Lmfao I think she has forgotten that she has two kids.” Turner replied sharply, “Ah I’m so sorry sometimes I forget some people can’t think for themselves. So…. Get this….There’s this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.” The response quickly spread across social media, with many chiming in to defend her. Turner said, “It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother — mum guilt is so real! I just kept having to say to myself, ‘None of this is true. You are a good mum, and you’ve never been a partier.'”
Turner and Jonas married in 2019 and went through a very public split in 2023, when the latter filed for divorce in Florida. Their separation was finalized in September 2024, exactly one year later, after they reached a custody agreement.
