Margot Robbie Looks Unrecognisable in New Hairstyle

Margot Robbie‘s new hairstyle has made waves online due to its unique look and stark contrast from her previous ones. The Australian actress was previously seen with either long wavy blonde locks or long bob cuts.

The 35-year-old recently made headlines for her attire at Cara Delevingne’s birthday party. Robbie, who hasn’t starred in a film since 2023’s Barbie, is currently awaiting the release of Kogonada’s A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, where she will co-star alongside Colin Farrell. She also stars in Emerald Fennell’s upcoming gothic psychological drama Wuthering Heights, which features Jacob Elordi.

Margot Robbie spotted with a new hairstyle

In new photographs shared on Instagram by Backgrid USA, Margot Robbie could be seen sporting a new hairstyle while leaving a hair salon in West Hollywood. The Barbie actress’s blonde hair was tied in braided pigtails.

For the outing, Robbie wore an all-black ensemble, consisting of a jacket, a crop top, stretchy pants, and formal shoes. She completed her look with black shades, a black handbag, and a white water bottle.

Social media users shared all kinds of reactions to Robbie’s new hairdo. “Little braids???? how old is she?” one fan asked. Another commented, “Who has ever left their salon in pigtails lol.” A fan opined that The Suicide Squad actress went to the wrong hair salon to get her hair styled. They wrote, “She went to the wrong one.”

Recently, Robbie attended Suicide Squad co-star Cara Delevingne’s 33rd birthday party. For the event, which took place at Chateau Mormont, the Focus actress, who had flowing blonde locks, sported high-waisted black trousers and a cropped white top that covered part of her neck and left the back part fully open. She completed the look with black peep-toe platform heels and a leather purse (via InStyle).

Meanwhile, on the movie front, first reactions for Robbie and Jacob Elordi’s Wuthering Heights have reportedly emerged online following test screenings. One attendee described the film as “aggressively provocative” and “tonally abrasive.”

Another attendee shared that Robbie and Elordi delivered “committed performances with great chemistry.” However, they noted that their characters were “so cold and unlikable” that the pair’s “strong acting” couldn’t “create a point of connection” (via World of Reel).
