We know Twitter is a hotbed of opinions. We just never expected that a tweet about cookies could get so many people all hot and bothered.
It all started when a gentleman named Rex Chapman blew our minds and offended our sensibilities by tweeting that the GOAT cookie was…wait for it…oatmeal raisin.
What’s the GOAT cookie?
Trick question?

5. Peanut Butter
The only thing we like better than a big ol' spoon of peanut butter is peanut butter in cookie form. Those little fork marks filled with sprinkled sugar make our mouths water.

Jerry Seinfeld said it best: "Nothing mixes better than vanilla and chocolate." We'll take a baker's dozen, please.
-
3. Peanut Butter Blossoms
Particularly prevalent around the holidays, these soft peanut butter cookies topped with a Hershey's kiss make us as happy as a kid on Christmas morning all year 'round.
-
2. M&M
Amazing things happen when you bake M&M's in cookies. Specifically, you get the crispy shell of the candy that gives way to delicious, melty chocolate inside.
