Social media sensation Bretman Rock and Justin Fester have broken up. The Filipino-American influencer took to Instagram to explain his current relationship status. The 27-year-old noted that their split was a “mutual” decision.

Bretman Rock is choosing to be hopeful about a future where he might be together with former boyfriend Justice Fester again. In a series of Instagram stories, Rock detailed the current situation, noting he remains “good friends” with Fester even as they decide to part ways.
The social media star further indulged, saying, “If we’re really meant for each other, then we will find each other again.” He shared, “I just wanted to quickly address that we are no longer together. It was a mutual breakup… We are still friends, we still have love for each other.”
While Rock did not go into details about the reason for their breakup, he revealed that both he and Fester needed to take care of their “mental health.” Even though Rock had previously shared candid details of their relationship, he urged fans for privacy as they navigate their separation.
He noted, “If there’s anything I ask, I would just ask for some privacy, some time to process everything. Please don’t point fingers at anybody. This was truly just two adults who came to the conclusion that this isn’t something we want to do, but it’s something we need to do for our mental health.”
The breakup news shocked fans, as the couple celebrated their anniversary in May with a sweet social media tribute. Fester took to Instagram to write a touching message for Rock. “I can’t wait for more growth, adventures and celebrations in our future,” he gushed. “Thank you for adding more creativity, excitement and wonder to my life. I love you so so so much and am hyped to celebrate this weekend together.”
Rock officially introduced Fester to his Instagram followers last year in June with a fun carousel of the duo.
